Based on privacy and security considerations, the dash cam's WiFi cannot be connected to the Internet. Only a short distance (about 9 fts) can be connected to the mobile phone.

Location: You can accurately check vehicle location/speed/route on Google Maps through Software. GPS player software will need to be installed on your computer before you use.
