1: The cable installed on SSD is different from the original hard disk cable of iPod. So please do not remove the cable from SSD. You need to completely remove the previous hard disk and cable, and install the SSD and the cable on SSD to iPod

For the 80gb iPod classic and 120gb iPod classic the logic board doesn't support to recognize more than 130gb hard drive.So they can only compatible with 128 gb SSD.
