1. The purpose of rosin is to weld copper well without oxidation, or to remove oxidation to facilitate welding. So it can also be called flux.

2. If the soldering iron is dirty (burned out), you can burn the rosin to restore the ability to eat tin. The circuit board coated with rosin liquid is easier to weld and firm.

3. Circuit boards soldered with rosin do not need to be cleaned.

If too much residual rosin affects the appearance, rub it with alcohol.
