F&Q:
ISSUE: Printer can not recognize ink cartridge.
REASON: Ink cartridge didn’t install well or contactor dirty.
SOLUTION:
Step 1: Take off the ink cartridge and re-install it. If issue still exist, go ahead step2.
Step 2: Clean the ink cartridge and printer contactor with eraser or alcohol cotton swab.
The ink cartridge
can be refilled
repeatedly through the holes under the label
Take 301 ink cartridge for example:
Step 1: Before adding ink, preparemall the tools. Be careful not to stain the nozzle.
Step 2:Lift the label and determine the color of the holes with the toothpick.(
Do not throw away the label.
When finished, the label need stick back. If the label is missing, use the tape.)
Step 3: Plug the rubber stopper into these three holes.
Step 4:Insert the needle into the correct hole
(insert deeper)
and inject ink
slowly
into the cartridge.If your ink bottle hasn’t needle, you can use general medical injector, draw and inject ink. The recommended amount of ink injection is
about 4-6ml
(about 1/3 of the ink cartridge’s capacity). Then
stick back the labels
and
clean
the ink out of the print head with tissue paper.
