8. Troubleshooting:

1.Problem:

No Sound; RF light(s) not glowing.

Solution:

1.Make sure the transmitter POWER switch is ON and the receiver is plugged

2.into a power source.

3.Check battery

4.Check receiver squelch setting

5.Check receiver antenna connection(s)

6.Make sure antennas are in line of sight of transmitter

2.Problem:

No sound; RF lights glowing.

Solution:

1.Turn up receiver audio VOLUME control.

2.Check for proper connection between receiver and audio mixer unit.

3.Problem:

Received signal is noisy or contains extraneous sounds with transmitter on.

Solution: 

1.Check battery.

2.Remove local sources of RF interference.

3.If using a guitar or other instrument, check connection. Two transmitters may be operating

4.on the same frequency.Locate and turn one off.

5.Signal may be too weak, Re-position antennas. If possible, move them closer to transmitter.

4.Problem:

Noise from receiver with transmitter off

Solution: 

1.Adjust receiver squelch control.

2.Remove local sources or RF interference.

3.Re-position receiver or antennas.

Problem:

Momentary loss of sound as transmitter is moved around performing area.

Solution:

1.Re-position receiver and perform another “walk-through” test and observe the RF indications.

2.If audio dropouts persist, mark these “dead spots” in performing area and avoid them during

performance.
